Glamour & Grace Feature: Whitney & Gene
Oops, y'all! We dropped the ball and just now found out that one of our super cute couples, Whitney and Gene, was featured on Glamour & Grace back in September! Their rustic, DIY-style wedding is one you won't want to miss (assuming you hadn't already seen it, unlike us).
There are cupcakes and bunting flags and Canadian/American dancefloor mashups and a whole lot of attractive people, so make sure you check out Glamour & Grace's full post!
Real Weddings: Monica and Carlos
Monica and Carlos were married in October 2011 at Queen of Angels Chapel, with a reception at Spicewood Vineyard, both in Spicewood, Texas. We love vineyard weddings, and this one had some really beautiful personal touches that we're excited to share with you guys! All of these beautiful images are by Finnrose Photography, a friend of the bride.

Monica's bridal bouquet was composed of garden roses, dahlias, stock, ranunculus and anemones, all in a very soft palate of white with touches of blush and pale pink.

We love the trend of attaching a charm or jewel to the bouquet with personal meaning to the bride.
There were three bridesmaids and two maids of honor - the maids of honor carried bouquets in the same palate as the bridal bouquet, with the bridesmaids carrying flowers in shades of pale pink.
The reception tables had small nosegay arrangements alongside white and brown branches that coordinated with the wedding's black and ivory color story.
Guests threw white rose petals as the couple departed for their honeymoon. How fun is this picture? Monica and Carlos look so beautiful and happy!

Color Love: Green, green, green!
Sorry you guys, but we couldn't resist the temptation of using green as the focus of today's color inspiration, so pour yourself a pint of Guinness and enjoy!
Clockwise from left (all images found on Pinterest): 1. We love the idea of a simply iced cake decorated with lush, draping greens. 2. Vibirnum and Hellebore make a beautiful combination if you want a green and white bouquet. 3. "Pick any dress, as long as it's short, green and comfortable." 4. The look of this simple staircase laced with greenery is stunning. 5. How dapper is this groom? 6. This simple centerpiece is perfect next to the backdrop of that lush meadow. 7. Green watercolors and calligraphy turn this invitation into something truly special.
Green and white is a popular color story for our brides, so scroll on to check out some real-wedding inspiration:
Happy St. Patrick's Day! May your weekend be free of snakes and full of good luck!
