Flappers & Philosophers

We had a bride come in recently who is thinking of having a 1920s themed wedding - this is one theme we will never tire of! With Baz Luhrmann's Great Gatsby remake premiering at the end of this year, we're sure this theme will only get more and more popular. The possibilities are endless, from super glam Art Deco evening weddings to summery afternoon garden parties - check out our inspiration board for the latter of these options!

A fete worthy of Daisy, don't you think?

1. This airy tea-length dress is perfect for an afternoon wedding. 2. Rosemary gin cocktails - feel free to use Hendrick's rather than the bathtub variety, though. 3. Condensed milk layer cake feels like a modern take on a decadent classic. 4. A Victrola is a requirement for any Jazz Age party. 5. How pretty do these ladies look in their Flapper dresses? 5. We love this airy color palette of light flowers in mint julep cups. 6. Such a dapper fellow! [all images from Pinterest, y'all]

Do you guys love the Roaring Twenties as much as we do? Prefer another time period when it's time to dress up and drink vintage cocktails? Let us know in the comments!
